Parents & Guardians,

We are so excited to have your camper join us this summer! Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our campers and guests. A summary of our safety policies is listed above. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any additional questions (director@poconoplateau.org).

The Camper Information & Packing List document provides all the necessary information you’ll need to prepare your camper to have a successful week of camp. You’ll also find Drop off and Pick up details here. For returning campers, please note most camps will now end on Friday evening instead of Saturday mornings. We invite families picking up to join their camper in Springer Dining Hall for a picnic dinner before heading home!

New this year, we are asking all campers and their parent/guardian to sign the Parent Camper Covenant (excluding GRAM & Me campers). The covenant defines core behavioral expectations so our camp families understand and share in the responsibility of community formation and engagement. Our hope is that parent/guardians speak in earnest with their children or youth about the importance of these expectations.

Because of staffing limitations, Pocono Plateau will no longer post daily photos and journal posts. Pictures taken during camp weeks will be posted to our gallery at the end of the summer season for those campers with a signed photo waiver (part of the online registration process).

Grace and peace,

Carmen O’Shea

Director, Pocono Plateau
