Summer Camp

About Summer Services

Pocono Plateau is now offering two new, special services to camper families. These services have been created to address the needs of parents and other family members who desire to be more involved in their child's summer camp experience. The new services are an email address created specifically for email directed to campers and an online journal and photo gallery, updated daily.

Camper Email

Now you can send email to your camper! No longer does your message need to go through the multiple-day journey that postal mail takes to get to camp. Instead, you can simply send an email to mycamper@poconoplateau.org and, if it was received by the camp before noon, it will be delivered the same day! Please include your camper name and camp name or number in the subject of your email. It's a quick, easy, and free way to communicate with your camper. Of course, traditional mail is still welcome.

Daily Journal & Photo Gallery

Pocono Plateau is committed to not only provide a fulfilling experience to the children attending camp, but to their families as well. To do so, we are offering an online "journal" that will be updated daily by a summer staff person. Each day's entry will include a summary of what some of the campers have done over the previous day, and a few pictures. Each journal entry will be posted at 5pm.

Additionally, there will be a special photo gallery, separate from the main photo gallery, that will display pictures taken from throughout the day. These pictures will be taken of all the current on-site camps. We can't guarantee that every camper will be included in this gallery, but with over 20 pictures a day there is a good chance that you will be able to see your child at some time during the week.
