The
Springer Center is the home of the dining hall and the camp store. Designed
to seat 200 guests at a time, this beautiful building with a huge wrap-around
porch and both indoor and outdoor fireplaces, provides for all of your mealtime
needs. A typical weekend retreat consists of five hot meals served buffet-style.
A typical week of summer camp includes 17 hot meals plus evening snacks.
Meal times during the summer are: 8:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. During the non-summer months meal times are: 8:00 a.m.; 12:30 p.m.; 5:30 p.m. We appreciate your cooperation in being on time.
All dining room procedures will be explained to your group by a Plateau staff person before the first meal begins.
The
dining hall is open 24 hours a day to guests, unless a group is holding
a meeting there. Coffee and tea are available until 11 p.m. A soda machine
is available in the camp store, which is open around the lunch and dinner
hours each day.
