Year-Round Staff - Glendon Carper
Glendon Carper oversees the programming and provides leadership and planning for the summer program staff at the Plateau. He finds great joy, not only in this role, but also in serving the campers and guests through adventure programming. He and his wife, Katie, met while working at a camp in central Pennsylvania and married in 2002. Glendon graduated with a Business Administration degree from Messiah College and has had extensive training and varied experiences within the camping field. Katie graduated with a Bible and Camping Ministries degree from Philadelphia College of Bible (now PBU). Both Glendon and Katie have worked at other camps serving the Lord in all kinds of capacities. They have found Christian camping to be a wonderful, unique way to build God's kingdom as they utilize their gifts for His glory. Selah, their 2 yr. old daughter, enjoys the Plateau life and staff and has received countless high-fives from campers and staff alike. Jude, their youngest, was just born in October 2009 and is bringing immense grins to the faces of all - as only newborns can do!
