Year-Round Staff - Jesse Skaggs
Jesse Skaggs, our Program Manager, was born and raised in Lancaster, PA. After high school he served four years in the Army as a Chaplain Assistant and was stationed in Germany for most of that time, which included a deployment to Bosnia.
After serving in the military, Jesse earned his B.A. in Physics Education while attending the University of Delaware, during which time he served on summer staff for three summers ('98, '99, '00). He was on the program staff and "learned the ropes" under Program Managers Brian Kisler and Sara Burn (Jesse and Sara were married in January of 2001).
Prior to coming to the Plateau, Jesse taught physics at the Manheim Township high school in Lancaster. Jesse, along with Sara and their two sons, Micah and Jonas, is looking forward to serving as the Program Manager in this exciting ministry.
