Position Overview
Pocono Plateau is a year-round Christian facility located in the heart of Eastern Pennsylvania Pocono Mountains. The Plateau operates camp programs for the summer season, mainly in June, July and part of August. In the months surrounding summer we host our own events along with guest groups that come to the site for retreats, outdoor education experiences and day events.
The Food Service & Hospitality Manager is responsible for meal planning and cooking, inventory and ordering, summer staff management, and housekeeping oversight. This role is part of a vital ministry of Christian hospitality to make every guest feel welcomed and loved.
This position is a non-exempt role eligible for overtime during summer months or busy times.

The Food Service & Hospitality Manager will attend weekly staff meetings and quarterly Site Committee meetings as well as periodic training and development classes.
Job Requirements
This role requires team spirit and willingness to jump in as needed to provide support for the success of the center. The candidate should have good communication skills and be comfortable engaging with guests to foster a warm, inviting dining experience. The candidate should be organized, work autonomously, and able to manage their time.
